Found out after a decade of marriage that my wife had never had Katsu curry. So, I made katsu curry with Japanese coleslaw, and short grain rice.

1. Japanese coleslaw? Is that a thing? Got a recipe?

2. How hard is a Katsu curry to prepare? I purchased a box of curry but I don’t want to mess up my dish.

4. Looks wonderful! I recently introduced my family to this and it’s a winner. I have taken to a fair bit of modification to just curry blocks to really make it pop. I saute onion, garlic, carrot, ground ginger, ground apple, and a bit more curry powder to the start of the recipe. It came out much richer. Now experimenting with the multitude of curry blocks available to see what we like.
