Updated Japan Cherry Blossom Travel Itinerary

Just looking for how my itinerary is looking like. It’ll be with my partner and we’ll both be going for the first time. Want to see if everything on the itinerary is possible / and if we could add more activities. Or if you guys wanna suggest some cool activities to do as well.

  1. I believe the date for Ueno Sakura Festival has not been released yet. I’ve been looking for this too

  2. Make sure you are flexible with dates. Sometimes the sakura season can be days late/early, and randomly can be weeks late too.

  3. I think they now close the Akihabara main street again on Sundays (please correct me if I’m wrong), so you may want to switch up your initial Shibuya and Akiba dates. Having the main street open for walking would be much nicer while wearing a kimono.
