I just move to my apartment and there is no internet available. However, there is a CATV facility in my building, but I don’t want to use it as it is slow and I have no tv. So, is it possible to install hikari internet in my room?
Btw, my room has both air conditioner and telephone hole (im not sure what it is called)
Thank you in advance!

If your room is lower than 3F and there is a utility pole on the street, you can probably run optical fiber directly to your room from there. For more information, please contact NTT.
Yes, it is possible to install Hikari Fiber in most apartments in Japan. However, if the hardware is not already installed in your apartment building, you will need to have permission from the property owner to have a line installed. Hence, you may wish to clarify with the property owner of your apartment for more details.
I hope this helps!
I would sooner move into an apartment with no water than one with no internet.
Anyway, you are not installing anything. Talk to the building owner, or get NTT, Nuro, K-Opticom, or whatever to approach them.
