Seeking Emergency Contact for a Shared House Application

Hi all! (Please remove if not allowed, hoping this doesn’t conflict with rule 7)

To get to the point, I’m trying to move into a shared house, and like many previous posts, they’re asking for an emergency contact. In my case, I’m not working for a Japanese company, but for an Australian company remotely while on a working holiday visa.

I’ve only been in the country for 2 weeks so far and don’t have any friends or relatives here I could put down.

As such, im posting here asking if anyone is willing to let me pay them so I can put them down as my emergency contact or has any suggestions otherwise?
