He went through hell

He went through hell

  1. I understand there seems to be a very niche “fandom” of will but he really is one of the most entertaining talents in the world, without a doubt top 5. I do not understand what is holding him back at this point in his career .

  2. He is unfairly overhated by the IWC. This dude puts on amazing matches and is not even 30 yet! Win, lose, draw etc, he will go down in wrestling history as one of the greatest wrestlers of the 21st century. AJ Styles is proud of him.

  3. Ospereay should have gone over on Omega.

He nearly died this year, and within a matter of weeks, he was back on his feet, in the ring, and carrying the US Title for this company.

They jobbed him out to Moxley AND Okada, and he made both of them look like studs in the ring.

His lacklustre G1 record didn’t serve any purpose, since they never bothered to do anything with the 7-way tie, which only stood to hurt everybody in that entire division. Through it all, Ospereay didn’t take a single match off, unlike some guys (Moxley, Naito, Okada) who don’t bring their A-game when the outcome is they’re meant to lose.

His WK17 match with Omega was easily the best match Omega has had since he left NJPW. Ospereay got colour and took several dangerous high spots without any hesitation.

I am making the argument that no one worked harder or did more for NJPW since WK16 than Will Ospereay, and he should have been rewarded by going over on Omega.
