PSA – Coop has hamburger buns

4 packs of real sesame seed hamburger buns. Don’t remember the price because I was going to buy them regardless.

  1. My local supermarket has them too, they also have kuroge wagyu burger patties. Better than any burger joint.

  2. I have them here too.
They cost around 198 here. If I wait a few days, I can get them almost expired for hangaku lol.

  3. Good to know, not that I don’t trust the Japanese to mess up a hamburger bun, but they’re not coated in sugar or something…

  4. Benimaru has them too, but they are 2-packs unfortunately. Kasumi also has tends to have them. (I think both of these stores are mainly in Ibaraki and Chiba, though)

  5. My dudes, Costco is now selling King’s Hawaiian rolls, which make for outstanding sliders. I’ve not seen them in Japan before.

Regarding buns, I highly suggest trying out Lawson’s L-Chiki buns for anything you like. They’ve got a butteriness to them that goes perfectly well with whatever fried chicken, smash burger, or traditional burger you’ve got planned for them.
