Japan mulls adding mulling as the national pastime.
I just got back from two weeks in the US where no one wore a mask. Japan needs to get its head out of the sand.
Record number of COVID related deaths in recent weeks is not going to help with public sentiments. That being said there are more unmasked people outdoors, though just today I saw a group of diners being asked to put their mask back on after eating at a ramen place
tf is mulling?
Yeah I’m Japanese and don’t wear a mask anymore. It’s honestly crazy how people still wear it
Japanese doctors: Um… no, we’re not ready for that, yet.
Lift what you like, it won’t make a difference. Restaurants and shops will enforce makes if they wish and the public is still very mask heavy. Don’t see that changing and didn’t see it change after people were advised not to wear masks outside during the summer.
When they say “mull”, they are likely to do it. They just want to gauge reactions before finalizing the decision.
As a Japanese I haven’t worn my mask in months and nobody cares one way or the other.
Should just be a choice. If people want to continue to wear them that’s up to them. Some people want to move on from the insanity
