Both Yotsuba and Doraemon are just about perfect for me for extensive reading right now. The thing I like the best is the humor. Yotsuba cracks me up every time, and Doraemon has some funny moments as well. (I guess I have a grade school sense of humor!)
Any recommendations for other manga that are funny and at a lower level? Most recommendations go to Teasing Master Takagi-san but that moves into the “teenage love” stuff that I don’t care for at all. Maybe there are other older manga from the 60s or 70s that would fit the bill? I looked at パーマン, which is at the same level, are there others with humor?
