Career advice

Background:

I finished an AS in Engineering and Programming in 2019 right at the beginning of the pandemic.

Because of the shut downs and problems caused by the pandemic transferring to an US University was a nightmare at the time and after waiting for a year, I decided to complete it remotely since japan opened borders

Came to japan with a student visa and studied Japanese for a year and half while doing my bachelor.

I am going to graduate at the end of this year with a Bachelor of Computer Science. Around Sep ~ Dec and will turn 26 at that time. At this point I feel a little lost and would like some advice.

I am getting certificates to show in my resume as well, specifically PCAP for Python and AWS CDA

What would be the best approach for job applications ?

Should I apply for jobs positions of new grads just like Japanese Students ? Is my age going to be a problem while applying ?

Are the certificates a waste of time ? Should I instead focus on more projects for my portfolio ?

My japanese is N3 at best. However, I don’t need a visa sponsorship since I am currently in a spouse visa.

I appreciate all the insights.
