Itinerary Check: 7D6N in Osaka/Nara/Kyoto/Kobe

Hi All! My SO & I will be travelling to Osaka/Nara/Kyoto/Kobe by the end of the month.

Any advice on how to navigate these areas in such a short span of time? Should we get JR West Pass?

We’re big foodies so any recos for restos/must trys is appreciated!

**Day 0: Arrival at KIX Airport & Check in at Osaka Bay Area**

**Day 1: Full day in Universal Studios**

**Day 2: Osaka**

* Shinsekai Area
* Dotonbori
* Nipponbashi
* Kuromon Market
* Shinbaisashi

**Day 3: Nara**

* Nara Park
* Free Day/ Any suggestions?

**Day 4: Kyoto**

* Fushimi Inari Shrine
* Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
* Nishiki Market
* Nijo CastleGion
* Suntory Yamazaki Distillery whiskey museum

**Day 5: Kobe**

* Search for best Kobe beef restaurant! (Leads would be appreciated)
* Relax at Hotel

**Day 6: Airport**

* Flight back home

  1. If you only have 7 days I would just do Kyoto/Osaka. Your Kyoto day is far too packed. Everything is in different parts of the city — not close— and you’re not going to be able to each them easily or stress free.

    You also don’t need to visit Kobe to eat Kobe beef. I get wanting to do it in the city its famous from but if that’s the only thing you’ll do in Kobe it’s better to find it elsewhere.

    You can type “kobe beef” in google maps in Kyoto or Osaka and find a myriad of nice, great quality restaurants.
