Question about quitting my job.

Hello! i wanted to ask about the aftermath of me quitting my job.

I have worked part time at first and then they gave me full time for about 3 years. The job has been quite stressfull so i am planning to quit in about 3 months from now and spend maybe 3 weeks or a month in my home country. ive already told them and they were okay with it and i am now spending my Yukyuu. this is the first time that i quit my job and i was since this is my first job that i took.

i was curious about what would happen to the taxes because the company used to pay it for me at first but i know i would i will go back and pay it in konbini. would my taxes or shakai hoken be the same as when i was still at work or would it go back to when i was still a part timer. and any more information about what would happen if i quit?

  1. You need to take the documents to you get from your job that confirm that you left the company and take them to the city hall. They will help you sort out paying 住民税、健康保険 and 国民年金 which you all need to still pay (or be exempt from) even when not working.
