On occasion. Some textbooks (Nakama) do provide the pronunciation.
I have it with audio on my electronic dictionary and rarely use it. There are better resources for beginners.
IMHO, you should spend a small amount of time daily studying pronunciation. Start with words, then phrases, then sentences. Learn about shadowing (I used textbook and its audio for practice).
You should be aware of the basics of pitch accent and be aware of it with words and phrases. This will help your listening and speaking skills. I would not focus too much effort here. This stuff should become second-nature if you listen to a lot of audio.
If you want to spend some time on pronunciation, the best book I have found for beginners-intermediates is by Ask. This book includes pitch accent work but a lot more pronunciation exercises for foreigners. The audio files are available at the site for download, spotify, etc. But I think you need the textbook to make the most of the system:

I usually read their articles + listen to the audio report which contains most of the content from the written report so one pick up the correct pronunciation from there.
