How far should I go with Hiragana?

Hi, I’m new to the Japanese language. And I’m getting used to dakuten hiragana quite well, but it’s been only a few days since I started learning so I feel like I should practice more before moving on to katakana and ultimately kanji.

Any website or tutorial video suggestions that would help me solidify my learning would be awesome!

  1. probably until you can copy the chart out by memory

so maybe a few hours to learn to read it and a few more hours to learn to draw it

  2. I learnt my hiragana and katakana by brute force a couple of years back (I can still write them all from memory), but, my friend has been recommending this to new learners -[https://www.tofugu.com/japanese/hiragana-mnemonics-chart/](https://www.tofugu.com/japanese/hiragana-mnemonics-chart/)

I used mnemonics to learn kanji and it was very effective, so hopefully this might be of use to you.
