Getting into language school with abysmal HS transcripts

I have the money and basically what is needed to get into Japanese language school. I am planning for January. I’ve asked and they accept GEDs. I passed every GED test first try. Issue? They require transcripts of “the last school attended”. I did literally nothing in HS due to severe depression,Asperger’s etc. Do I just send the GED and hope it’s enough?

  1. Unless this is a very prestigious language school, they aren’t gonna say “ummmm yeah we don’t need your money.”

    Just send the transcripts.

  2. language school won’t care about your high school grades. I dropped out of high school and still got into language school.

  3. Yeah. What 4649 sez…Just send in what you have. If, for an unforeseen reason you don’t get in try another school. Better yet, get a 3 month tourist visa when Japan opens up and get yourself a Japanese girlfriend and forget language school.

  4. Are you actually asking if you can go to University in Japan having been to a language school here for a while ? Japanese University isn’t like some weird cartoon. You don’t just turn up with an owl on a train and they let you in. The answer is absolutely NO.
