Words to listening

Is there any page, podcast whatever where they read a words with translations? I could use that during doing chores. I’m free time I listen just some Japanese stories but is anything what is focusing only on words?

  1. It sounds like you may be interested in the キクタン series of books. They divide vocabulary words and example sentences up by day and have an accompanying audio track where words with translations are repeated over background music.

They have some specifically for Japanese learners based on JLPT levels [here](https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E5%89%8D%E5%9D%8A-%E9%A6%99%E8%8F%9C%E5%AD%90/dp/4757428561/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=2SYX6BUEZWNAW&keywords=%E3%82%AD%E3%82%AF%E3%82%BF%E3%83%B3%E6%97%A5%E6%9C%AC%E8%AA%9E&qid=1657624924&sprefix=%E3%82%AD%E3%82%AF%E3%82%BF%E3%83%B3+%E6%97%A5%E6%9C%AC%E8%AA%9E%2Caps%2C342&sr=8-2) but you may also want to look into キクタン英語 where they will have English -> Japanese -> English. You should be able to find the corresponding audio on audiobook.jp’s website or their mobile app.

  2. Japanesepod101 has a ton of those on YouTube. Search for “japanesepod101 words” on YouTube and you will find more than you will have time to listen to, for instance this one:

As an alternative, you can download the “OtoNavi app” from your AppStore and download the Genki audio files (for free). It contains the vocab lists for all lessons, both JP->EN and EN->JP.
