I am about N5 level and am not sure on how I can proceed.

I have completed the Genki textbooks about a year ago and have since been on a bit of a hiatus.
I have been doing Anki on and off but I am now ready to pick my studies up again.

What are some good things I can start doing to continue learning? Because at the moment I only have Anki.

  1. Instead of going back to n5+n4 material I think that satori reader (which is a ~n3 graded reader with lots of grammar explanations) would be a good resource for you to a) review n5 + n4 grammar b) teach you some n3 grammar, and c) ease you into moving on to native material.

  2. Take a look at JapaneseAmmoWithMisa’s N5 (and N4?) playlist? Other than that, It’s consuming what you want, and working to understand that material.
