Yummy! How often do you see rolls with rice outside in Japan?
Looks good. What is the yellow square on the left?
I lived in Taiwan (military). We would jump over to Tokyo to shop and have lunch at the restaurants. It’s the first place I had sushi. It was awesome.
I love Asian food. When I came back to the US, there was no place I could get sushi I actually had to fly to San Francisco or Chicago. Now there are sushi joints everywhere. Most of them are not at all like the Japanese style.
Can we talk about that anago though?! What an incredible piece.
Holy crap. You get toro, ikura, and uni for $20? The hamachi and sake look very fatty too. I’m sure it was delicious!
Now that I’m looking at it again, I don’t think that’s sake, I think it’s another grade of toro. All for $20? Lucky!!
heaven
I bet that was great if you ate it in Chiba!
What is that nigiri behind the uramaki?
Looks too warm
Tuna helpings in Japan are always so gratuitous! I learned to ask for a bowl of sushi rice to go with it. Break it up into two or 3 pieces.
That’s super cheap! Wow I’d love to go there
I’ll take three sets!
The potions alone are impressive. Kind of ironic that the Japanese beat the Americans in this regard
