An absolute shot in the dark but might as well.
My two favourite snacks are sour patch kids and Mainland Asian/Chinese styled beef jerky. Not the dry and barely flavoured stuff available here like Tengu or Jack Links, or the plain stuff from Costco or regular grocery stores. But the soft and tender and sauce covered jerkies you get at the Asian grocery stores. One brand back in Canada was Soo Beef jerky.
From what I can find the only way to get sour patch kids is to pay and arm and a leg to import them, and beef jerky is pretty much a no go with the ban of importing beef.
But…is there a chance? Has anyone found Sour Patch Kids and Chinese jerky anywhere in larger cities? Maybe online locally?
I know I probably won’t get any results, but better to ask and know then to keep wondering.

Not very aware of the Chinese beef jerky part though I was born in China but you can have a check to Asian/Chinese import stores in your area. In Tokyo for example it could be the huge Chinese store in ame yokocho or some next to ikebukuro station
Are you looking for something like bakkwa? You can get them at [Bee Cheng Hiang](https://instagram.com/beechenghiangjapan) in Ginza. They have freshly made ones, as well as the ones that are vacuum packed. I think you can shop online for the vacuum packed ones if you’re outside of Kanto area.
Sour patch kids – might want to try Okashi Donki at Tokyo Station Yaechika (Yaesu side, or any Donki)as they have big selection on gummies from around the world. You can also try Plaza (formerly Sony Plaza).
Good luck!
