Online dictionary recommendation


Does anyone know if there is an online Japanese dictionary similar to the german [https://www.dwds.de/](https://www.dwds.de/) ? That is, a dictionary that allows you to search for word frequency, etymology, synonym groups, related words and example sentences?

  1. Weblio includes similar words in its dictionary entries, and has a thesaurus as well, and a corpus of example sentences (例文). The ej/je section of the site is almost another dictionary, but also includes lots of example sentences. They’re my first choice for usage examples.

    I don’t know any online dictionary that has good etymology. There are frequency lists that have been made using various reference corpuses (corpii?), but I don’t know of any dictionary incorporating frequency rank into definitions.

    I would keep an eye on wiktionary.org though, those kinds of details seem like the sort of thing they’d want to include eventually.
