Need help identifying Japanese magician theme song

The title is kind of weird, but hear me out. There’s a song I’ve now heard in a few pieces of Japanese media when a character(s) are doing a magic trick. (There’s an example of the song at 11:25 in the video here: [https://youtu.be/LeqDbnUctYM?t=685](https://youtu.be/LeqDbnUctYM?t=685))

It’s only ever sung in little bits like this, so I haven’t been able to find out what it’s called! It seems prevalent enough that I assume it must be well-known, but I’m at a loss for how to search for it. If anyone knows what song it is or what it’s originally from, I will be so grateful!!

  1. In Japanese, the song is called オリーブの首飾り (Olive Necklace). It is actually Paul Mauriat’s instrumental version of “El Bimbo.” “El Bimbo” was originally a pop hit by the French group Bimbo Jet in the mid ’70s. It is also popularly known as the “Blue Oyster Bar” song from the “Police Academy” movies. For years, Japanese magicians have used the song during their acts. So much so that just about every Japanese thinks that as the “Magic Song.” When the kids in this scene are doing magic for the girl, it’s no surprise they sing this song.
