My current company is transferring me to their Tokyo HQ for 2 years.
I will be arriving on the 2nd week of February and still looking for a shared furnished room since I just got my booking confirmation and I wanted to make sure in advance
My company is located in Nishinippori Station which is basically Yamanote/JR line. To be honest its a bit overwhelming looking the areas and metro maps so I would like to hear recommendations for potential areas that are affordable but have the necessary amenities such as Gyms, supermarkets etc that could be within my metro, also open to transfer if not to long. I heard sobu and or chofu could be fine.
Also, if you know of sites to check besides Sakura and or Oakhouse for furnished shared rooms? I would be probably staying for 3 months max as my husband would be arriving later on.
Finally, can I pre-reserve even if I am outside if japan? And are key/deposit money mandatory? I would like to get the money back as I would use to rent my next apartment for once my husband arrives.
