Itinerary Check: First time in Japan – 9 days – Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka

Hey all! In late November this year I will be flying to Japan for the first time with my parents and my sister. We have a rough idea of what we want to do, and we also have a budget as we will also be visiting The Philippines for 4 weeks after our trip. I’m a big fan of Japanese Culture, anime and would like to try out some Japanese cuisine. The rest of my family are ok with anything. They mainly want to go sightseeing but they have no exact locations in mind. Here is a rough idea of what we would like to do. It would be great if anyone can throw some suggestions of things to do that we may have missed. We also didn’t realize until after booking our flight that we have an extra day to spend our time in, so it would be great if anyone can suggest a full day for us (it can be in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka and we can just move around the dates). Thanks in advance!
