Current COVID time off work and pay rules

A few quick questions:

* What are the current rules for testing positive for Covid?
* How long is the mandated self-isolation period?
* How do employers treat that time off?

Thanks for any help.

  1. * You should inform your work and close contacts within the last 48 hours of your symptoms.

    * 7 Days with start of symptom or positive test being day 0. Please take care as most people are contagious longer than this period. (10-14 days on average) Wear a mask and wash your hands.

    * Entirely depends on your employer. Mine mandates 10 days at home and pays the full salary under 特休. Close contacts of the infected person must also stay home. I work in medicine and there are many members who also attend patients, so our rules are very conservative. Some employers do something in between, some do nothing.

  2. I work in IT and earlier this year they removed the paid off for the quarantine period. They generally try to force you to use your PTO, but you can also take unpaid off.
