LDP members speaking up? That’s unexpected
I think everyone up there knows this law is pretty stupid and outdated, if this starts a trend I don’t see it in its current form lasting long.
The context for this is that this week, the presidents of second-hand book seller Mandarake had charges filed against them or selling uncensored pornographic books known as *binibon* starting in 2010. This has sparked a discussion over whether what they did should really be illegal.
IT’S HAPPENING
And this seals the opposition’s coffin even harder than themselves ever could with that av censorship thing still bitter. Maybe they could attain some common sense and back perhaps the complete repeal of the censorship?
All things aside, if Japan can away with this pointless censorship, big win for everyone

175 is straight up unconstitutional. Not that the government and the police seem to care. Its the same all around the world. Governments trampling on their constitutions for their own benefit.

Amongst the lot, Furishita is a good guy. Akamatsu is a genuinely nice guy and I wish him the best. Fujisue is someone that doesnt get much credit for what he does, but he has done more than all of those others. I dont really like Yamada much.
