Failed japanese exam by two points

So yesterday i had an exam in japanese and today i got the results back and i was two points short of being able to go to the oral exam.
Do you have any suggestions what i can do?
I already got the exam back and will probably go tomorrow to the professor to talk about some things.
If anyone has some advice what to do please write it.
Thank you

  1. Review your mistakes and practice them until they’re second nature. It’s okay to fail. You’ll get it next time 🙂

  2. If you have a physical copy, you can probably check your answers against the textbook or something to see what you got wrong and why. Maybe something was incorrectly marked wrong or you could be right on a technicality (日本語を・で話します。), but some teachers don’t quibble about grades. You were wrong based on the answer sheet, so you’re wrong.

  3. We don’t know why you were wrong so we don’t know what you can do to improve.

Was it grammar? Vocab? Kanji? Reading comprehension? Just going too slow?

  4. If you failed entirely you probably needed to study more. Missing a couple questions is fine but unless the teacher sucks outright failing is your own responsibility.
