Recently my transfers from my USA banks to my wise account and my wise account to my Japanese are much slower than they were a few months ago.
I wonder if this is a Japan only problem since my friend in Europe has had no change in transfer speed.
Any comments would be helpful.

Just recently did this. US->Wise took 1-2 days, Wise->JP was same day or next day.
I just made a transfer via Wise from USA->Japan and it was complete within a few minutes. As long as it is not a SWIFT transfer (over 1M JPY) they seem to be very quick.
It may depend on the bank?
