10 Day Trip Itinerary -(Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima)

Hey all! Have a jam packed solo trip to Japan starting in Golden Week and would love any advice on transit/ if I planned too much😅 I’m a master architecture student so seeing famous projects is big on my list but don’t think I’ll make it too far outside of city centers

May 3-
-arrive @ Narita Airport 14:30-15
-collect wifi, Suica, and hop on Shinkansen
-Senso Ji temple
-Walking architecture sight seeing and snacking from Tokyo Station-through Minato and Shibuya (3-4 hrs?)
-Meji Jingu
-Feast / Drink in Shinjuku
-Zzz in Shinjuku

May 4-
-Snacks @ 711
-Earlier (7/8) Shinkansen to Kyoto
-Temple crawl starting South > North @ Kiyomizu-dera > Chion-in > Nanzen-Ji
-coffee break @ Blue bottle Kyoto
-Kyoto imperial palace
-kichi Kichi omu rice
-Nijo Castle
-Zzz in Shimogyo ward Ryokan

May 5-
-Snacks @711
-Earlier (7/8) transit to Nara
-todai-ji temple
-whisper sweet nothings to deer
-hike and walk through many gates
-feast
-transit back to Kyoto
-travel to west side and hike up to Otagi-Nenbutsu-ji temple (or other scenic recs)
-feast on ramen
-Zzz Kyoto hostel

May 6-
-no snacks
-Earlier (7/8) transit to Osaka
-TAKO freaking YAKI (amount other snack)
-Osaka castle detour
-Triangle park
-Glico sign
-Namba Parks
-Tsutenkaku
-backtrack and hit random eclectic architecture sights and stay North of Yodo River
-ZZZ

May 7-
-Earlier (7/8) transit to Hiroshima
-Peace memorial park
-Hiroshima Castle
-Boat over to Miyajima
-Hike to top and back down
-boat back
-Feast
-stroll
-ZZZ

May 8 –
-Transit back to Tokyo
-(infill stops based on your suggestion- Okayama, Kobe, Nagoya?)
-later in the day Tokyo arrival
-meander
-zzz in Shinjuku

May 9 –
-Musashino Art Museum
-ghibli museum
-more architecture touring (is renting a bike a good option?)
– zzz Shinjuku

May 10-
-early as possible fish market day
-explore Chiyoda
-zzz Shinjuku

May 11-13
-extended my trip 3 extra days and leave on May 13 with a flight time of 18:30 so have a good chunk of time on my last days to hit anything I missed
-zzz right by Tokyo station
