I’ll travel to Japan in March arriving in the afternoon on the 2nd and leaving at night on the 24th both from Tokio, I already have a plan but would like your suggestions/tips that can improve the plan.
We like temples but is not our first priority we would like to see the cities attractions apart from temples and to try a lot of different food, so I think that in Kyoto we are already covering many temples and we will be ok with that, also we want to visit some pokemon center, theme stores, museums (we will try to get tickets for Mitaka Ghibli museum), etc.
The amount of days in each city is fixed as we already have hotels reserved, but the order of activities can be changed I just tried to organize them per region so is easy to move from one place to other without losing so much time.
I have some doubts in specific about Kyoto and Tokyo, so I have 1 free day in each city maybe to repeat an activity or to cover something that cannot be done before due to any circumstance.
Not sure if I put too many or too little activities per day, I tried to assign activities per region based on some blogs I read but any suggestion from more experienced people is welcome I know that it depend of how long we stay in each place but well is just to have an idea.
Important questions questions too are:
\-Based on the plan below, do you think is worth to get the JR pass for 21 days or just 14 and cover the extra cost as needed?
\-I am planning to buy an esim from Ubigi, do you have any other company recommendation maybe? or is better to have a pocket WIFI (We are 2 people), I’m just worried about the battery life, do not want to be in the middle of the city without internet as I entirely depend on google maps 😛
