  1. Didn’t Kishida also say he was going to use money from the pension fund to invest in start ups and growth stocks? I hope he puts $100 billion of it into Bitcoin and Ethereum (very safe), that’s an easy 1 trillion profit 7-8 years down the line.

  2. It’s most likely the NFTs will be sent in a floppy disk by post after the virtual rally.

  3. Lmao meanwhile the minimum wage is still 900 yen an hour nationally and there’s more people on welfare than ever before but let’s go NFTs for some reason

  4. People keep downvoting me but this guy is a clown. He doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about and it’s honestly concerning that he has such an apparent aversion to the Japanese habit of saving cash vs unmitigated capital speculation. A strategy that has worked and kept the yen with practically no inflation and therefore prices low for the past 30 years. Meanwhile the rest of the world is seeing debilitating inflation and wage gaps. Then he thinks throwing in buzzwords he doesn’t understand like NFTS and metaverse is going to somehow make young people (rapidly becoming the strongest voting faction in the LDP), who support the LDP as they want to continue this stability, that the casino equities approach is the way to go.

This guy has been a disaster and I don’t give a damn what some kyodo poll says about it. First he acts all tough and revolutionary in his speeches saying he’s going to completely revamp everything (if you can get him to actually state an opinion rather than just ignoring the issue) and then turns around and says and does dumb shit like this.

  5. Well I guess this is what he meant when he said Japan needed an alternative to neoliberalism.

  6. I just copied the .jpg of that NFT for free. Why does anyone pay for NFTs?

  7. Is pump & dump the new Abenomics? Seems about right considering Japan’s sole focus on trickle down economics.
