The trick to making a good teppanyaki restaurant-style garlic rice is to add a double dose of garlic. The first dose is garlic-infused oil which you can make by frying garlic chips. Then you can use this oil to make fried rice seasoned with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. A pat of garlic butter adds fresh garlic flavor at the end, along with some buttery goodness. Oh… and the garlic chips you made in the first step can be used as a crispy topping.
