Of course. Dogs originated from Japan. I knew that. Oh wait, what did the fox say…..
Did native Japanese dog breeds, like the Akita and Shiba, descend from the now extinct Japanese wolf species (Honshu and Hokkaido species) rather than mainland grey wolves?
