Hi all! Slightly strange request but I figured this would be the place to ask.
It is possible that in a few weeks I will be asked to DJ at a reception (or more realistically, post conference party) being held at a conference in Japan by a European organisation. I’ve done this many times but only ever in a UK/Scandinavian context. People generally like to hear upbeat songs they are familiar with and know the lyrics to (inoffensive and a bit kitsch, but with wide appeal). To give you an idea of the kind of music I mean, here are some favourites from a UK context:
– Gimme Gimme Gimme – ABBA
– Die Young – Ke$ha
– Move Your Feet – Junior Senior
– Call Me Maybe – Carly Rae Jepsen
– Alors on danse – Stromae
– Whenever, Wherever – Shakira
– Dance Wiv Me – Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris
– Juice – Lizzo
A lot of the attendees will be from Japan so I think it is only right to consider the kind of music they would want to hear in this situation. Therefore, I would be interested to hear if you have any suggestions for songs – either from Japan/in Japanese or elsewhere – that would be popular with the Japanese audience in this scenario.
Thank you in advance! / どうもありがとうございます!

ペンパイナッポーアッポーペン of course!
Some of the songs came to my mind:
[Suirenka – Shonan no Kaze](https://youtu.be/PjGbnPYwt1g)
[Hot Limit – T.M.Revolution](https://youtu.be/vBmU5v2EyxM)
(not 100% sure if the lyrics of two above are appropriate for the circumstance)
[Love Machine – Morning Musume](https://youtu.be/6A7j6eryPV4)
[Shin-Takarajima – Sakanaction](https://youtu.be/LIlZCmETvsY)
[Natsumatsuri – Whiteberry](https://youtu.be/AZRR01YOKcM)
[Get Wlld – TM Network](https://youtu.be/r107W1YXrSM)
