I’m 30, M, never driven, but I’m going to be moving to a town where having a car would be very beneficial. I can speak and read Japanese to quite a high level, (currently studying for N1) but I’d rather learn in English if possible so I can minimize potential failures and extra costs down the line. Has anyone done driving lessons or taken a test here? If so do you recommend any schools etc? Thanks in advance.

koyama driving school offers all classes and testing in English and they have several locations
I’m from the UK, same side of the road, so I’m trying to weigh up the cost of me flying back to the UK to get my license there, and coming back and converting it here, vs just paying for it here.
