Explain like I’m 5 – How can I ship something from Japan to US?

What company is best to use, what is the process from A-Z to do so? I heard things were suspended cause of COVID but is that over now? And how can I figure out a ballpark cost estimate, I assume it’s based on size or weight?

  1. japan post ems

around 4000 for a small box 1kg or so.

Also, don’t forget to do the EAD (Electronic Advanced Data) it’s a requirement by U.S.If you don’t, they will make you make you go home and do it, or open your box, describe each item, weigh, etc. and it’s going to take a long ass time there.

You can do it via Japan Post website by registering.

  2. Go to the post office, bring your box, fill the paper, ask price by delivery options, choose, pay, and leave.

You can also do that on JP post website and order a pick up from your place.
