3D Printing services?

I’m trying to repair something and I need a clip to be 3D printed in order to complete the repair. I have the stl file and am looking for a place to have it printed. I used a service 5 years ago where I uploaded a file and selected someone to print it and mail it to me, but I seem to be unable to find the website and there’s nothing in my email history. I have tried searching but the only similar website I have found ships from abroad and is expensive. I have found that DMM offers a 3D printing service but it seems to require waiting for them to get back to you with a quote and when I tried going through the process it said it would take 10-20 days. This is just a small mostly-flat clip for a repair, it shouldn’t take nearly that long.

Is there anywhere other than DMM where I can have this printed and mailed to me without paying out the ass for it?

  1. can’t you just walk up to any maker/hacker space and print it yourself?

failing that, a number of cainz locations have the diy corner with a 3d printer. check their store locator on the website, it allows filtering by diy corner. the one i went to in Fukuoka had a really shitty printer but it got the job done. .
