Does Duolingo do kanji?

1. Can’t remember where it stars exactly, but yes it does. Around 4-5 or something

3. It does but I would recommend something called human Japanese instead

4. Not sure but I recommend not doing Duolingo for really any language, as in my experience after doing it for a couple months, it doesn’t bring you anywhere close to fluency

5. It does, but you have to finish hiragana and katakana first.

6. Yes but it’s not recommended, try to understand Kanji with other method

7. It used to start maybe 3 lessons in. Like “hey we know you learn a tiny bit of hiragana and katakana, but now here are some full sentences with kanji!” which threw a load of people off, including me. Now it seems better spaced, so you start learning a few kanji on their own before they throw you complex greetings or anything like that. I think within the first section of lessons, or maybe at the beginning of the next.
