Easy ways to get 20,000 yen Mynapoint Campaign from My Number

I don’t have a Japanese Phone Number and I am not sure if I can use my bank in getting the points. Do you guys know what valid cards are the easiest to apply as listed on their site? I was thinking Nanaco by 7-Eleven but maybe there are others you recommend?

  1. Not sure of the particulars because my wife handles stuff like this but … I used my JCB credit card and bank info to get the 20,000 yen, and my youngest, who is still living at home, didn’t have an eligible credit card, so she applied for a Waon card, received it in a couple weeks, and then got the 20,000 yen added to the Waon card (unless I understood my wife wrong on this, which is quite possible).

  2. I used Icoca since I used it regularly for commute. Got the 20,000, but it didn’t just show up on the IC card. I found out you have to charge from points when charging at a terminal.
