I live in yokohama city, but far from yokohama station.
Couple days ago I started to have stuffy nose and cough, didn’t think much of it since I barely left my house in the last week.
But now it’s getting stronger and all the information I was able to look for covid tests were aimed at people without symptoms.
My Japanese reading isn’t that good so I might have (most likely) missed other information on what to do when I have symptoms.
I’m starting to stress and freak out since I live alone and have no idea what to do.
Anyone can point me to the right direction?

You may also want to try asking in /r/Tokyo.

Found by Googling “Covid-19 test Yokohama” but didn’t use that site myself so I can’t give you any additional info.
Btw I had Covid last year and used the Line app to connect with the Kanagawa center thing but that was in JA so I don’t think that would work for you.

create an account here. there is english.
you can apply for free test kit and will be sent to you in a day (can apply for 2 kits at a go).
once received, test and if positive, you can apply for food (2 boxes of food and drinks)
update the app everyday if you choose to do stay-home recovery but if it is deemed unsafe (high fever, unable to breathe, etc), a contact will contact you to be hospitalized (never had to use this myself)
I did this but I live in Tokyo so I can’t say for Yokohama but should be the same procedures.
If still unsure and you want to do a check-up, find a hospital, make a reservation and proceed, though most hospitals deal with Japanese.
I would recommend buying a self test online. You will have it by tomorrow most likely.
When I was in Yokohama, I used a company called Reprocell (https://ec.pcr-reprocell.com/)
They’ll courier you a test kit and you mail everything back (the return package can be dropped off in a mail box).
In my case, I used them twice and had my results back same-day (mailed the test kit back in time for morning postal pickup, had the results by 4pm)
You can also buy tests at most larger Hac drug stores that have a prescription counter. I have to get a few a month for my daughter and the process is easy and quick. Just ask for covid test at the prescription counter
You go to a hospital or clinic that treats patients with COVID-like symptoms. Your city should have an English page or even a call center for that kind of guidance.
