About to do an iHerb order, any recommended things I should get while I’m at it?
I renewed my shaken but it shows my old address because I moved and never changed the registration. What could happen if I leave it like this?
I think the tax slip gets sent to the registered address, but I set up a post forward so I received it this year. I guess if I don’t update the address, next year I won’t receive it. Is that all?

Anyone figured out how to bypass the new security feature on Google Voice? I can make phone calls from my web browser and receive SMS/voice mails in the App, but, without inputting a US phone number to link to the account it won’t let me receive phone calls like it used to… Grr…

Everyday some scammer add me and put me in a group chat. I report them and block them but it will not stop.
I checked the settings, but there is only an option to prevent them from adding me by ID, not by phone number.

So, I got my driver’s license translated in the mail. pretty hyped about it, but im alittle unsure where to go now. JAF does say I should bring it to a Driver’s License Center, but does that mean anywhere is okay? Where would everyone recommend?

It’s been 3 years since I’ve seen any of my family back home in America. My parents practically call me begging to come visit. It’s been difficult because I recently moved cities, changed jobs, and the whole covid thing. I’ve had lots of expenses/bills. To make things worse, flights back home are insanely expensive when I checked.
My home is on the east coast in America so it’s very far from here. Any advice is welcome.
Municipal gyms in Akita. Are they relatively hassle free to visit for someone from out of town? I’m not after anything too specific equipment-wise, just whatever they have so I can do a little working out when I visit. Either Akita city or perhaps Hachirogata because that one looks quite nice at a glance.

Is it possible to buy a single lens for my glasses?
I have some glasses with -3 prescription in both eyes. However the other day one of the lenses popped out and I can’t seem to find it. I dont really care for buying a new frame, and ideally just the one lens if possible. Is such an option cheap here? Will they do it or will they make me resit an eye test and go through an entire lens development process.

My husband left a small sink upstairs running all day and we didn’t notice until now before bed. It’s one of those barely above a trickle bathroom faucet sinks. At the cash register at many grocery store/convenience store/drug stores: How am I supposed to communicate to the cashier that I want to use my credit card via the felica chip on my phone? 90% of the time I’ll see that little icon clearly displayed on the touch terminal and they look at me like a deer looking at headlights when I bring out my phone and say 「クレジットで」, so clearly I’m not communicating effectively, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be saying!
My rakuten card bill of around 500k can’t be paid at conbini because the bill does not have a bar code. At the area where barcode is supposed to be, it says pay at a Bank. Can I pay the bill from any bank or do I have to go to my own? Note: automatic withdrawal account has not been set because Shinsei.

Why at some grocery stores do the checkout staff ask if you’re paying with cash or credit, then after you answer you have to go to an automated teller machine with a touch screen where you have to select if you are paying with cash or credit?
So I am heading back home (Germany) for the first time in 4 years – first time since I am a resident as well. I am a bit confused by the information provided online.
1. It seems like I don’t need a pcr test to enter Germany, but will I still need to have one to board the plane?
2. Can someone recommend a place for a pcr test in Tokyo? Also, how long will it take?
3. If you are coming from a blue country there is no need to have a vaccination certificate or do isolation upon re-entry into Japan right? Just a pre-flight pcr test.
4. I am tripple vaccinated. The international proof for that I could get at city hall right?
5. Special re-entry permit I’d get at the airport, but where? Is there like a counter or will there just be a checkbox on a form while I got through the procedures?

Checking before I go all the way down to the city hall – I need to register an inkan (somehow 18 years here and I have never needed to before), are there any restrictions I might not be aware of on the inkan itself? I have a Japanese last name, and a solid (not self inking) one from probably the home center – this should be ok?
I’m considering getting a new office chair from [Costco](https://www.costco.co.jp/Home-Furnishing/Furniture/Office-Chairs/c/cos_3.7.14) as an upgrade from my cheap Amazon chair that’s broken in several places. Last I was there, my local store had the Itoki C Salida, one of the True Innovations variations, and I believe the Steelcase Series One chair.
Dunno which one to invest in, but has anyone here owned any of these? Primarily for gaming and work-at-home usage. Any thoughts?
