Hello everyone! I graduated with a B.S in Computer Science last month and just started a new job as a Software Engineer. I’m debating applying for MEXT now or waiting to gain a few years of experience in my career before doing so. I’m currently 27 so the longest I’d wait to apply is 2 or 3 years. I’m also considering the fact I’d need a LOR from my employer, it’d probably look bad right now haha but I don’t want to wait so long that I lose the connections I had at my university. I’m planning on asking the professor I did research under for my academic LOR and they mentioned they’d be leaving the university at some point. My plan B is to just have my current employer pay for my masters and applying for a position in Japan down the line. Any suggestions? Thanks!
