Hi there! I recently extended my visa a week ago. My visa expires end of March but I was planning on visiting my home country for 2 weeks from the end of March to April. In the case that my visa does not arrive on time, can I still come back to Japan? I heard your visa is extended for 2 months on the black stamp they put on the back of your zairyu card so I would have until May, right? Would this be wise?

It’ll probably only take about a month for them to process your renewal.
You need to be here to do that. They’ll send a postcard.
