描く vs 書く

In Duolingo they sound different, but they use the same kana. Is there really meant to be a distinguishing accent difference?

  1. According to HiNative, Forvo, and Yomichan (sorry, don’t know which dictionaries my setup is pulling from off the top of my head) they’re both the same. か↓く.

  2. Sadly Duolingo’s pronunciation is far from perfect and sometimes it’s just messed up. Should be the same according to dictionaries
