Post Language school advice

Any advice is appreciated. I’m 25. And I live in Inaka.

I’m coming up on graduation of my Language school after two years.

I only have a JLPT N3 because of personal reasons I missed one of the testing deadlines for N2. Which I would like to take this year or possibly N1 but don’t have a long enough Visa deadline to do so.

I have been looking at Vocational schools but it’s been extremely hard to find one that’s a good fit for my future, I’m still looking though. I do not have a Bachelor’s but I have 5 years in the Marketing/Consulting field.

I do have a pending job application for a Large Company but there is always chance of no Visa Approval.

I have Family in Japan that I’m very close to and that is a large reason I’d like to stay, I’ve also become very comfortable here, but stressed due to Visa Expiration dates.

I’m open to most options, though it is unlikely I’d want to go to a 4 year University as of now.

Is my only option to keep looking for Vocational School?

  1. Well it sounds like you don’t have citizenship/PR despite having family in Japan, so I’m assuming they are on work visas? With no bachelors and not meeting the 10yr requirement you probably won’t be able to get a work visa, so it sounds like you only have a few options:
    1. Find a vocational school and get accepted quick, when you graduate you can get a work visa for that specific field.
    2. Enter university and get your bachelors in Japan.
    2. Go back home.
    3. See if you can somehow get a dependent visa under your family in Japan? (No idea if this is even possible, and what requirements would be.)

  2. Could you find any jobs even with a relative low-payment like 300k yen ~ range
