I work at an recruiting firm and am hearing a lot of stuff happening at Rakuten, specifically in the mobile section. What’s the situation like in all honesty? Just curious if this is a widespread thing within the company or just the complaints of a few people.

It’s real. And it’s nasty. Some crazy requirements. It looks like they will start an employee purge real soon to me.
