What is your daily/weekly app routine since you lived in Japan?

My app routine has changed a lot since I started working in Japan since several years ago. Nowadays, my typical one on a daily basis is as follows:
– phone alarm (default; used to use Sleep Cycle)
– system notification
– reddit
– books
– viber
– ms teams
– gmail
– google translate (or imiwa if I’m feeling the way of using a dictionary)
– demaekan, uber eats or wolt

Part of weekly routine:
– simply piano
– flipboard
– ps app
– youtube or twitch
– twitter

Rarely (used to use often since living in Japan but frequency went down since pandemic)
– weather
– google map

I don’t seem to have a Japan-Life type of app in my app routine unless you count Rakuten apps for payment and online shopping which I both use but only on demand.

Anyway, what’s yours?

  1. It depends what’s available, but I’ll usually go with ehire, shirako or sakura ebi. But often, no apps at all.
