So Much To Do So Little Time

I’m making my first trip to Japan on March 4th with 5 close friends. We have two weeks and plan to hit Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Mt Fuji. There’s wayyy to many things I want to do but from listening to this sub I know it’s better not to *over*book because a lot of cool experience comes from just exploring and walking around. Does this itinerary look feasible? Are there other things I should prioritize? I’d also love to squeeze in a sakura blossom viewing hanami picnic at some point, although I know we’re a bit early for the full bloom season so idk.

March 4th: Arrive in Tokyo at 6pm

March 5th: Akihabra + Tokyo Skytree (maybe hit up the pokemon skytree center?)

March 6th: Shinjuku (maybe also check out nakano broadway)

March 7th: Shibuya+Harajuku (Maybe hit up Shimokitazawa if we have time)

March 8th: Ginza + Teamlab Planets (Maybe hit up Tsukiji market for dinner)

March 9th: Ghibli Museum+Suginami city (There was a wagashi making workshop I was interested in checking out)

March 10th : Free (whatever we feel like)

March 11th: Day trip to Fuji

March 12th: Train from Fuji to Osaka, Check out Dotonburi for dinner

March 13th: Universal Studios + Nintendo World

March 14th: Free (Explore Osaka)

March 15: Osaka to Kyoto (Ryokan) , check out nishki market for dinner

March 16th: Fushimi Inari Shrine in the morning, Check out Uji for tea stuff

March 17th: Want to check out the restaurant Shoraian, where you have to hike to get to. Rest of the day free.

March 18th: Train to tokyo, time to do any last things

March 19th: leave

Here’s the map I made with points of interest around those areas: [https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1DHuK\_ATpVW7\_D9aQCasizAPZ0-bX7\_s&usp=sharing](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1DHuK_ATpVW7_D9aQCasizAPZ0-bX7_s&usp=sharing)

  1. 3/8: Tsukiji for dinner? A few restaurants are still open but more of the vibe is there during the day.

3/11: What’s your plan for ‘day trip to Fuji’?
