Been trying to *research* if there’s any special regulations on bringing CBD products with me as I move to Japan. I could only find one website that lists the ‘requirements’ for bringing in a CBD product but it is the [*only site*](https://essentiapura.com/what-to-know-about-importing-cbd-into-japan/) I could find & it has no sources. I’d trust it more if there was a link to a Japanese govt website…
What are other’s experiences?
I’d be bringing CBD gummies (website has [lab reports](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0587/2930/0163/files/super-chill-cbd-lab-reports.pdf?v=1668033076) ) and possibly my CBD vape juice. (also has [lab report](https://bluemoonhemp.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/BMH-EL-Red-Devil-1000-1000RED-KND383B.pdf) )
Here are links to what I use: [https://www.superchillstore.com/products/super-chill-cbd-gummies-jar-4000-mg-100-natural-40-gummies-100mg-each-made-in-usa?variant=41873786634435](https://www.superchillstore.com/products/super-chill-cbd-gummies-jar-4000-mg-100-natural-40-gummies-100mg-each-made-in-usa?variant=41873786634435)

Both of the lab reports say there’s 0% THC in it – so I’d think I could bring these papers when I land but according to this one website –> [Essentia Pura](https://essentiapura.com/what-to-know-about-importing-cbd-into-japan/) it says something waaaay different.
Just want to make sure there’s isn’t a wild list of documents I need to prepare just to have my gummies with me….

That site seems pretty straightforward and covers most of the bases.
You should probably operate under the assumption that you, the consumer, ***cannot*** bring in anything even remotely connected to hemp/marijuana. While yes, *technically* you probably could, the paperwork requirements will be labyrinthine and the consequences of screwing it up will be immense.
You can easily buy CBD products here, why risk a run in with customs that could potentially net you a trafficking charge?
**EDIT:** See this thread for more discussion on the CBD topic. tl;dr – 0% THC means different things in different countries. Unless you can prove it’s seed/stalk derived (which you can’t with those lab reports) you’re in for a world of hurt. Just buy your shit here.
