Naturally there will be times where you will need to be told how to read a name because it’s unusual, but I imagine a lot of the time Japanese folks are able to at least wager a good guess as to how a name is read based on the kanji. Is there anywhere I can see maybe a kanji frequency list in names so I can prioritize which ones to learn? Any advice?

There’s no need to actively learn anything. Just take a mental note of the reading every time you see a name and don’t get into the habit of ignoring names when reading and that ability will just come on its own
