I’m looking for a job in Japan right now and I’m wondering about things I should be careful with/tricks that employers can try to pull when hiring.
For example, in my home country I should be careful when discussing the salary because HR sometimes try to juggle the net/gross values or to carefully discuss the amount of paid time off because if you don’t, you may not get any at all.
Does Japan have that kind of things to be aware of?

These are things you should be careful of when looking for work in any country, not just your home country or Japan. Don’t sign an employment contract unless you’re completely clear about what is expected of you, and what you can expect from them.
