Anyone had jaw surgery in Japan before?

I’m considering double jaw surgery (3 piece lefort 1) for sleep apnea. Has anyone gone through this process before and can provide some advice on finding an orthodontist / oral surgeon? Or if you can recommend me a provider in the kansai area that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  1. I have sleep apnea as well and on CPAP treatment right now. My ENT doctor talked about the jaw surgery before, but to be honest, I can’t imagine taking it. It sounds way too scary for me.

    Have you been diagnosed before for sleep apnea? If not I suggest going to nearby ENT clinic first and ask around. They’ll be able to diagnose you and recommend a larger hospital for the surgery procedure should you wish.
